Sabbir Khan’s 'Baaghi' is a romantic action film starring Tiger Shroff, ShraddhaKapoor & Sudheer Babu. The film is due for its much anticipated release on29th Apr 2016. Let’s review the music of the film to know what’s in store.
The first song of the album is a romantic one ‘Sab Tera’ which has already become really popular among music lovers. It is impressively composed by Amaal Mallik and is sung beautifully by Armaan Mallik in his magical voice. Shraddha does justice by crooning for herself in a sweet & serene tone which does sound a little extra sugary and stressful but nice. The lyrics by Sanjeev Chaturvedi are youthful & affectionate just like the lead pairing in the film. Ratings: 4/5
The next song is ‘Let’s Talk About Love’ is a rock & roll number flirtatiously sung by Raftaar, Manj Musik & Neha Kakkar. The composition starts very well but fails to sustain until the song ends making it a very average track leaving nothing muchto remember. The lyrics have been penned down by Raftaar & Sabbir Khan. Ratings: 2.5/5
‘Cham Cham’ is the next song of the album and reminds you of popular song “ Pari Hu Main” in the way it begins and later as a typical Falguni Pathak composition of the past. Also what makes you wonder is that what are lyrics like Cham Cham Cham written by Kumaar doing in an action packed film like Baaghi but I guess that’s bollywood for you. This one composed by Meet Bros & sung by Monali Thakur clearly targeted for the dandiya’s this year. Ratings: 3/5
The next song of the album ‘Agar Tu Hota’ composed & sung by Ankit Tiwari expressing his parting pain through his heart aching tone is a heart break song to the lyrics by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay have been brilliantly penned down giving you just the right amount of pain to feel for this song. Ratings: 3.5/5
The last song of the album is ‘Girl I Need You’ and goes well with the famous phrase “save the best for last” sung by Arijit Singh, Khushboo Grewal, and rapped by Roach Killa to the lyrics of Kumaar. This romantic track is pleasingly different to listen to and engages you beautifully in the composition put in place by Meet Bros. Ratings: 4/5
Overall, the album of ‘Baaghi’ does really well for itself with a unique variety of music created by young talented composers which should work in favor of the much awaited film. Also adding some eye candy are the two very young & vibrant upcoming starts of bollywood.
