Saturday, 30th November 04:00 PM IST After movies on Dawood Ibrahim, Haji Mastan and Varadarajan, the latest to have caught Bollywood’s attention is gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. Director Gaurav Bavdankar is making a biopic of the city's resident don who is currently serving life sentence in a murder case. Gawli's daughter Geeta has given a go ahead for the film. "We have an agreement signed by the Gawli family and the rights are with us for the next three years. We are considering Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the role. We plan to commence the shoot next April,” informs the director. "Gaurav is our family friend and he has been researching this subject for two years. We have given him (and his team) first-hand information and are excited to see the end product," says Geeta. | |||
