Now however a source has confirmed that is not the case. The source quoted, “We have no idea how such baseless reports crop up. ‘2.0’ is only based on ‘Vaseegaran’ (scientist Rajinikanth), Chitti (Robot) and Akshay Kumar, an evil scientist. Besides these three characters, Sudhanshu Pandey plays the son of dead scientist Bohra (played by Danny Denzongpa in the first part) while Amy Jackson’s role will be a surprise.
