Hrithik Roshan No More A Part Of Indo-Chinese Co-Production

Thursday, 1st Oct 2015, 3:28 PM IST We have been hearing news that Sonu Sood has been roped in to star in Indo-Chinese co-production directed by Stanley Tong. However, the movie is no more an Indo-Chinese co-production as Eros International is planning to pull out of the partnership because of serious creative differences with the Chinese production house. Even Hrithik Roshan, who was to star in the film, has opted out of it. A source said, "The film produced by the Chinese company Taihe was to have Eros as the Indian partner. It was supposed to be a two-hero action film with Jackie Chan and Hrithik Roshan in parallel roles. As soon as Jackie Chan signed the contract the Chinese producers began making arbitrary changes in the production plan and the script, to the extent that Hrithik's role became marginalized." So, later, Hrithik Roshan opted out and this is when Eros too apparently decided to back out. A source from the Indian production team said, "We've no idea what the Chinese producers are shooting with director Stanley Tong. We are not aware of who is in the cast. Hrithik is no longer part of the project."
