Karan Johar Has Approached Salman Once Again For SHUDDHI?

Monday, 25th April 2016, 2:21 PM IST ‘Shuddhi’ is one of those projects which have been in the pipeline since many years. The film first starred Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Later both the actors opted out of the film. Then Salman Khan was roped in to play the lead role, but then Varun Dhawan replaced him in the film and Alia Bhatt was cast opposite the latter in the film. Recently, there were reports that the film has been shelved, however, the movie is on, and now it is said that Karan Johar (producer) has once again approached Salman for the film. Earlier, Salman had jokingly said that Karan had told him to leave the film as he was making it on a tight budget. The makers have started the pre-production of the film and have also recorded a song with Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal which is composed by Ajay-Atul. Recently, at an event, Udit said, “I have sung a song for ‘Shuddhi’ with Shreya Ghoshal.
