Sunday, 2nd October 2016, 04:00 PM IST Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s love epic ‘Mirzya’ has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a ‘U/A’ certificate. That means children accompanied by adults can watch the film. But with two important cuts. A 12-year old boy is shown brandishing a loaded gun. The scene is not there to shock. It comes at a crucial juncture in the plot and is an integral part of the film’s dramatic core. But censor guidelines do not permit minors to handle arms and ammunition.” Rakeysh said, “I believe the censor board needs to undergo several changes in its guidelines. But until those changes are implemented, the guidelines have to be followed.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
