Saif Ali Khan’s CHEF Postponed To Avoid Clash With Ranbir's JAGGA JASOOS?

Monday, 29th May 2017, 07:00 PM IST Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Chef,’ which is an adaptation of the Hollywood movie of the same name, has postponed the film’s release from July to August this year. According to a source, ‘Chef’ was firstly scheduled to release on July 14. Few days back, the release date of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ was also confirmed to be July 14. The makers of ‘Chef’ might have probably taken the decision of postponing, in order to avoid a clash at the Box Office with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ which seems to be a family entertainer. ‘Chef’ would have not only raced against ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ but also Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai.’ The date being too cluttered could be another reason for the postponement. The final date of ‘Chef’ release will be announced soon. The movie is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
