Vineet, who got recognised for his powerful performance in ‘Mukkabaaz’, playing the character of a boxer will be seen playing a hockey player in ‘Gold’, which will remind you of the golden era of Indian hockey starring Akshay Kumar in a never seen before avatar. Just like the kind of prep Vineet did for his role in ‘Mukkabaaz’, training as a professional boxer for months, the actor underwent special training for ‘Gold’ too. Vineet will be seen playing one of the players from the hockey team which gets an Olympic for the country. He went through an extensive training from international coaches to learn to adapt mannerism of the hockey player and learn the nuances of the game. A source said, "Vineet believes in giving his 100% to his character. Even if it requires intense training or learning something new he always makes sure that he does it catching all the nuances of it which can help his character in the film.
