Karan Johar To Remake Telugu Movie Dear Comrade

Nowadays, the remake has become a trend in Bollywood, be it for the songs or for movies. After Kabir Singh which is the remake of Arjun Reddy, another south movie is all set to be remade, this time it will be made by Karan Johar. Karan Johar acquires the rights of the recently released Telugu film Dear Comrade that starred Vijay Deverakonda. Karan himself announced the remake of the film on Twitter. His Tweet read, “Stunning and powerful love story! With top-notch performances and exceptional music by @justin_tunes On point debut direction by @bharatkamma @TheDeverakonda is BRILLIANT as is @iamRashmika well-done @MythriOfficial! ANNOUNCING that @DharmaMovies to REMAKE this beautiful film” Expressing his happiness over the same, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika too took to Twitter to respond to the news: Vijay’s tweet read, "So proud to have this man, watch, love and be the one to remake our baby #DearComrade in Hindi. Team Dear Comrade Comrade @karanjohar biggest hugs, love and respect for you. Can't wait to do something mad with you and @DharmaMovies #DearComradeOnJuly26th" And Rashmika’s tweet read, "Thank you sir. Means a lot to us." It is good to see such good bonding happening in the industry. The details of the remake are yet to be revealed. Karan Johar had also made the remake of hit Marathi film Sairat which was titled as Dhadak, & starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. |
