By Lubhna Seal - August 5, 2019

Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen in Kesari starring Akshay Kumar, is all geared up for the release of her upcoming film Jabariya Jodi releasing on 9th August. The actress is busy with other films like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Bhuj: The Pride of India and The Girl On The Train.

The Girl On The Train is the Hindi remake of the 2016 American mystery thriller drama of the same name. Parineeti would be shooting in real locations and inside actual trains in England for the film.

Talking about filming in the train, a source had said:
“It is a thriller than unfolds with Pari’s character witnessing things during her repeated journeys on the train. So, Pari will actually be needed to travel in trains through the course of filming to authentically capture the scenes. The train is like a very important character in the film and it’s important that we capture the scenes perfectly. What Pari goes through on the train is extremely important to the scenes in the film and its narrative. So, we had to shoot on real trains to ensure we stay true to the setting.”

The remake of The Girl On The Train features Parineeti Chopra as an alcoholic divorcee who gets embroiled in a missing person’s case. In an earlier interaction while talking about the film,
Parineeti said:
“I am super excited to be shooting this film because this is a role that I have never experienced before, read before and I think the audience has never experienced this kind of acting piece from me. It’s a complete contrast to the kind of personality that is associated with me, so I am excited as an actor to do something completely new.”

The film is all set to release in 2020.
