Akshay Kumar has a lot of films on his plate like Housefull 4, Sooryavanshi, Good News and many more. The actor is currently promoting his film Mission Mangal starring Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu among many others.

It is the first Indian space film that revolves around women. The actor recently mentioned that the film belongs to the actresses of the film and urges women and children to watch it.

In a recent group interview, the actor exclaimed that with such movies coming up, its time for men to sit back and clap for women. The industry has had many male-centric films but now the industry is evolving with films solely driven by women like Neerja, Kahaani, Queen, Dirty picture and many more.

Akshay also mentions that we have this kind of thinking because we have been brought up this way. He adds,
"We have never had chapters where women do anything, we have been brought up like that"

Moving further, the actor was asked about his role choices and about the responsible, impactful and socially relatable films he has been choosing like Toilet- Ek Prem Katha, Padman and now Mission Mangal.

As a reply to which, he said,
"I do films like mission mangal and also Housefull 4. I do all types of films, I don't want to get stuck on an image that I only do such responsible films. I have played a villain's role, that doesn't make me an irresponsible person, Gulshan Grover is not an irresponsible person just because he plays a negative character"

It would be exciting to watch Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Nithya Menon, Kirti Kulhari and Vidya Balan in Mission Mangal which revolves around a proud moment for India.
