Friday, 20th June 2014, 06:10 PM IST Producer Sunil Bohra has signed Anurag Kashyap, Hansal Mehta, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sudhir Mishra and Vasan Bala to direct a 15-minute segment each for a film on the seven deadly sins. The seven cardinal sins – wrath, envy, gluttony, avarice, lust, sloth and pride – will be distributed into a 15-minute segment each and will be directed by the seven directors out of which five have already been chosen. The film will be two hours long and Bohra is still looking out for directors to fill the last two spots. "The idea is to promote the concept of short films by giving it a mainstream treatment and collaborate with some of the top names of the industry. Bala has already written a story on sloth,"says a source.
Sunil Bohra said, "Anurag has informed me that he will take up whichever theme remains unselected by the others." When asked about what was the inspiration behind the film, Bohra said, "There are several stories which are better told through a short film. My company Bohra Bros. will give it a proper release and based on the response, we plan to get seven other directors to make a similar film on the seven virtues as well."
