It has been learnt that singer-composer Ankit Tiwari who was approached by Mohit Suri to work on his next film Emraan Hasmi-Vidya Balan starrer ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’, had agreed to compose for the film free of cost.

 

A source revealed, “Mohit has begun prepping up for ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’ which rolls in September. Since the ‘Ek Villain’ track is a huge hit, he approached Ankit, telling him he wanted something special for this Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan love story which also stars Rajkummar Rao.”

 

Ankit agreed to work on the film for free as a gift to Mohit Suri who stood by him when he was accused of rape. The source further added, “He's been meaning to gift Mohit something for his recent success and what better gift than this. He's grateful to him for standing by him through a personal crisis.”

 

Tiwari confirmed the news saying, “Mohit isa dear friend and I'm doing the music of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’ purely as a sign of gratitude. It's a beautiful script steeped in melancholy. It fits my music like a glove.”
