Wednesday, 27th Aug 2014, 2:50 PM IST January is considered to be an unlucky month for Bollywood, with majority of the films releasing in the month tanking at the box office. But Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Agneepath’(2012) proved the believers of this myth wrong when the film saw audience thronging to the theaters in humongous numbers, and the film turned out to be one of the highest grosser of the year.
And now, Ashutosh Gowariker is all set to release his next film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the month of January. The film will apparently hit theaters on 22 Jan, 2016.
On Monday, the film's co-producers UTV Motion Pictures, tweeted about this: “‘Mohenjo Daro' starring Hrithik and introducing Pooja Hegde to release on 22nd Jan 2016@agppl_tweets”.
Just a few days ago, it was reported that Gowariker has roped in Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning international costume designer April Ferry for the film.
‘Mohenjo Daro’ is jointly produced by Disney India's Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL). The film is a love story set during the Indus Valley civilization, and will go on the floors in October this year. The film’s first schedule will take place in South Africa. |
