Few days ago, there were reports that Ranbir is not happy with the final cut of ‘Bombay Velvet’. But, the director of the film, Anurag Basu rubbished these rumours and said that he has loved the film and might shoot a promotional song for it.

Anurag said, "Ranbir has loved the film. He is willing to do anything for us. I’m just waiting to share the film with the audience now because I am tired of people telling me that my edit is not locked or that I will be re-shooting the film. It’s an expensive film and re-shooting it is big and expensive decision, and not one that we’re taking."

Apparently, the actor has also agreed to shoot a promotional song for the movie.

A source said, "Anurag and his team are working on the theme of the song. It will feature Ranbir and they have few months before they start shooting with him. The idea has already been shared with him and he has given his go-ahead. He is currently shooting in Thailand and will come back and have an elaborate chat with Anurag about the song."

The film is slated torelease in May 2015.
