CITYLIGHTS Had Below Par 2nd Week

There was no buzz around ''Citylights'' except among niche trade and industry circles. Team of last year''''s national award winning ''Shahid'' has delivered yet another critical acclaim film but film failed to get audience and money at ticket counters.

Film took a tepid start over weekend and collected poor 3.50 cr nett. Film had appreciation in metros though it never got translated in good numbers. Film finished week one with 5.50 cr nett number which was below par.

Film added 20 lakhs on 2nd Friday, 26 lakhs on 2nd Saturday and 34 lakhs on 2nd Sunday. Film has collected 80 lakhs over 2nd weekend followed by 32 lakhs over weekdays and thus taking 14 day total to 6.62 cr nett. Film is heading for 7 cr nett lifetime finish which is below average.
