2nd Weekend Box Office Collection Of FILMISTAAN

Monday, 16th June 11:40 AM IST FILMISTAAN Is Set To Cross 6 Cr Nett In 2nd Week 'Filmistaan' released in middle of huge critical acclaim and expectations among niche audience. Film clashed with big Akshay Kumar release 'Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' and Tom Cruise starrer 'Edge Of Tomorrow'. Film remained below average in week one and though it is adding some numbers over 2nd weekend but that will not change the final outcome. Film collected modest 4.91 cr nett over week one which was good considering clash factor, no star value and low weekend. But still high decibel marketing by UTV Disney did not bring much of change at box office. Film lost screens in 2nd week and that is why scored poor 20 lakhs on 2nd Friday. Film jumped but by slim margin and collected 35 lakhs on 2nd Saturday followed by 40 lakhs on Sunday. Film has collected 5.89 cr nett in 10 days and heading for 6.50 cr nett.. The low starting point has hurt film badly otherwise it would had been a respectable total 0f 7-8 cr nett. Film has investment of close to 6 cr and needs close to 10-11 cr for any chance of recovery which looks difficult at the moment. Film is heading for 6.50-7 cr nett lifetime total at best which will be underwhelming. Below are the collection for the film -
