Friday, 29th August 11:50 AM IST SINGHAM RETURNS Crosses 134 cr Nett In Two Weeks Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are back with another potential super hit films. ''Singham Returns'' released in around 4000 screens and that is why film was expected to take a big start. On top of that, film got huge impetus due to Independence Day holiday over weekend. Now film had scored decent 2nd week. Film defeated the 1st day opening record of Salman Khan starrer ''Kick'' which held the top spot in 2014. Film collected close to 32.09 cr nett on day one and that was by far the best opening day of 2014.
Film had only ''Mardaani'' in form of competition in 2nd week but film dropped heavily. Film collected close to 3.56 cr nett on day eight but that was not at par for the film. Though film was ahead of all new releases. Film grew on day nine and collected 5 cr nett. Film had huge jump on Sunday and collected 6.70 cr nett. Film collected average number 2.10 cr nett on 2nd Monday followed by 1.75 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.60 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.50 cr nett on Thursday. Film has total of 134.89 cr nett in 13 days and now film is heading for 145 cr nett finish at best. Film will be among top 10 grossers of all time if it achieves these figures. Film collected very good 19 cr in overseas. Film has crossed 100 cr nett worldwide in 4 days which is 1st for Ajay Devgn. Below are the collections for the film -
