Pluses: Taha Shah makes an impact with his poised act, couple of good songs Minuses:
poor screenplay, regressive story idea, Sara Loren tests patience, direction is clueless, messy twist in plot
Critic Rating: 2/5
Business Rating: 1.5/5
Verdict:
Watch it for couple of good songs
Detailed Analysis:
Taha Shah made debut with YRFs "Luv Ka The End" followed by Dharmas "Gippi". Now he is back with another romantic drama opposite Sara Loren.
Performance wise Taha Shah is good and shines again in lead role and its sad that he was not promoted well. Sara Loren is as horrible as she was in "Murder 3" and other supporting cast including Punnit Issar and Priyanshu Chaterjee is sleepwalking throughout. Film has old school premise of story and screenplay dips big time in after initial half an hour. Film becomes predictable and finds very cliche uninteresting situations. Film has couple of good songs but a ravishing actress was needed in order to make these songs look good. Art department brings authentic look and editing is uneven.
Director Shadaab Mirza fails to write well and then his lacklusture direction proved even more fatal for script. There is no fizz in the film and no magic of romance. Film will release tomorrow and should release across 400 screens. Film had no chances at box office despite there is not much competition. Film will depend on exceptional word of mouth to survive as it has no great buzz or marketing awareness.
Go for this one for songs and lead actors honest act!
