Marathi Film KILLA Scores At Box Office But WELCOME ZINDAGI Remains Below Par

Marathi film industry is going through change and that has opened market for the good. This weekend saw two major releases in Marathi industry. One was highly acclaimed film ''Killa'' and other was ''Welcome Zindagi''.

''Killa'' was not expected to do great but with good release and great reviews, film grew over the weekend. Film collected 40 lakhs on Friday, 55 lakhs on Saturday and 90 lakhs on Sunday. Film has total of 1.85 cr nett over weekend and with steady biz over weekdays, it can cross 3.50 cr week one.

''Welcome Zindagi'' collected rather modest numbers over weekend. Film had 19 lakhs on Friday, 27 lakhs on Saturday and 47 lakhs on Sunday thus taking weekend total to 93 lakhs nett which was below par. At best film will collect 2-2.25 cr nett in week one.
