MASAAN Trended Well But Overall A Flop

Last few weeks saw some humongous business at box office thanks to ''Bahubali'' and ''Bajrangi Bhaijaan''. Last week saw release of much acclaimed film ''Masaan'' and new Marvel superhero film ''Ant- Man'' in addition to few small poor films like ''Aisa Yeh Jahaan''.

Much hyped film ''Masaan'' released all over with rather decent number of shows but film failed miserably despite huge critical acclaim. Film managed some good shows in metros and high end plexes but overall it was extremely poor. Film struggled to cross even 30 lakhs nett on day one.

Film collected 1.10 cr nett over weekend and though film trended well in metros and high end multiplexes, it managed only 2.10 cr nett over week one. Film has some shows retained in 2nd week and it should cross 3 cr nett lifetime which is still a flop total.
