Few weeks were very poor for exhibitors as all films failed to perform. Last week looked no better as all the new releases had taken poor opening and there was not much expectation of turnaround either from these films. But ''Bahaubali'' surprised one and all with its huge biz even in Hindi version.
Film jumped big in Hindi version and collected 7.09 cr nett which was 40% jump. Film collected 10.11 cr nett on Sunday again with big jump. Film has total of 22.35 cr nett in three days. Film was solid on Monday and collected 6.10 cr nett which was 30% higher than Friday and bit lower than Saturday. Film added 6.15 cr nett on Tuesday,6.05 cr nett on Wednesday and 6.12 cr nett on Thursday. Film has total of 46.77 cr nett in one week. Today big Salman Khan release will slow things down for 'Bahubali' and it will be interetsing to see how far this film can go in Hindi version. Film collected close to 50 cr all India all version, 54 cr on day two and 160 cr all India over weekend followed by good 38 cr on Monday, 33 cr on Tuesday and 28 cr nett on Wednesday. Film collected close to 27 cr in USA in Telugu version over weekend which is extraordinary in addition to 1.45 cr in Tamil version. Film added almost 3 cr from UK and Canada markets.
