 Box Office Prediction For BAJIRAO MASTANI

There are few directors who make films on large scale like those old times. When it comes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, there are no half measures. He makes films on big budget. His latest film ''Bajirao Mastani'' has ensemble cast and produced by Eros International. Film has Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.

Film is in news for its cast and its clash with another biggie ''Dilwale'' starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan. This clash makes it interesting as everything will boil down to content and entertainment value. Christmas release means that people are expecting entertaining film. Deepika Padukone has just given a disappointing film in ''Tamasha'' and trailer tells us that it will be a period war cum costume drama with grim ending.

Film will release in 2000 plus screens and that will ensure a good opening. Film has average to good music which might limit the big opening. It has appeal in Maharashtra but to appeal to audience in North, Bihar and Eastern markets will be a challenge. Film will open with decent numbers of around 12-14 cr nett and if it manages to get good reviews then good weekend of around 47-48 cr nett is guaranteed. Film will heavily depend on acceptance in mass centers as it will have good share of single screens.
