| ||
Music Composers: Sangeet-Sidharth Lyricists: Kausar Munir, Vikram Bhatt Vikram Bhatt’s 'Love Games – Love Dangerously' is an Urban-Thriller starring Patralekha, Tara Alisha Berry & Gaurav Arora, all set to release on April 8th, 2016 . Vishesh Films has always entertained us with some of the best music through their films. Let’s listen to the album and find out more about this one. The album starts with ‘Awargi’ which starts with the keys of the piano the ultimate Instrument for a romantic song to begin with. It’s been sung by Sangeet Haldipur of the band of boys fame in his very modern & zestful voice and is nicely complimented by Rasika Shekar in her well controlled husky voice. The lyrics written by Kausar Munir are sensibly romantic with some lovely strong lines and the song is nicely composed by Sangeet Sidharth in a very westernized manner. This one’s a nice romantic number and will remind you of the Vishesh Film zone. Ratings: 3/5 ‘Love Games’ the title track is the next in this album sung by Aanchal Shrivastava in her naughty and tempting style of singing. The lyrics penned down by Kausar Munir have done a convincing job of explaining the plot of the film through this one, a brief summary is what I mean!!! So if you don’t know if you want to watch the film or not would recommend listening to this track. Ratings: 2.5/5 ‘Mohabbat’ is the third song of this album. This is a dreamy song in Sangeet’s voice and is a jazz number my favorite in the album as it’s quite different from the typical bollywood tracks and can take you for a musical ride through its compositional up’s & down’s reminding of you of songs from independent albums with some lovely music videos. Sangeet’s voice gives a different feel to the track. You have to be in love to feel this one. Ratings: 3/5 Then comes up ‘Aye Dil’ sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and you just know that there could never be another voice for this haunting track. Composed by Sangeet Sidharth like all other songs. However it sadly fails to create that magic in spite of having that enchanting voice croon it even though the music sounds pretty trendy and the beats are catchy. It’ll remind you of a song from AKS!!! Ratings: 2.5/5 The next track ‘Nirvana’ one’s in Mohan Kannan’s voice who has been a part of the popular rock band Agnee sounding dramatic in this slow rock track. The song looks like a requirement of the film but not the music listening audience with no doubts about his aggressive crooning skills but there still lies some disconnect. It says give me more I’m wondering if I can take that or should I say Please give me no more!!!!!!! Ratings: 2.5/5 ‘Lock Him Up’ is a crazy track with some wacky crooning by Sonia Saigal & Ravidra Chary to the deadly lyrics penned down by Vikram Bhatt with some classical rock & roll beats. This one may do well for the film as a background track but nothing more than that for music lovers in it. Ratings: 2/5 The last song in the album is ‘Poison’ which is a rock song in English I have by now almost forgotton I was reviewing the music for a bollywood film. Sung by Shon Pinto and written by Vikram Bhatt the best thing about the song is that it’s short. Ratings: 2/5 The overall album of ‘Love Games" is quite entertaining. It is a good effort from the duo who are quite musically inclined and may go well with the plot of the film while watching it. Let’s hope a lot of people decide to watch it in that case.
