THE JUNGLE BOOK Approached Huge 183 Cr Nett By 7th Weekend

Hollywood films have made mark in big way in last few years. ''Fast & Furious 7'' passed all landmarks and emerged as biggest ever Hollywood blockbuster in India. This year ''Deadpool'' surprised all and even ''Batman Vs Superman'' did big numbers. Now its turn of another biggie ''''The Jungle Book'' which has emerged as biggest blockbuster ever in India. 

Film released this weekend and collected huge 10.09 cr nett on Friday despite competition from Bollywood films. Film was benefited by holiday in Maharashtra but then on Saturday film grew across the board. Film collected 13.51 cr nett with 30% growth. Film witnessed huge jump of 30% again on Sunday and collected 16.59 cr nett. 

After 40.19 cr nett weekend, film scored outstanding 7.60 cr nett on Monday which is just 25% drop from Friday. Film collected equally impressive 7.07 cr nett on Tuesday, 7.97 cr nett on Wednesday with holiday push and 10.97 cr nett on Thursday with national holiday push. Film is solid across the board especially among masses. 

Film collected 74.08 cr nett in 1st week which is new record for Hollywood film in India. Film collected huge 2nd Friday with 8.02 cr nett which is as good as 1st Friday. On 2nd Saturday, the movie added another 8.51 cr to its kitty followed by impressive 10.62 cr nett on 2nd Sunday with 25% jump. Film collected 27.15 cr nett in 2nd weekend which is fantastic.

Film collected super 5.09 cr nett on 2nd Monday which is only 40% drop from 2nd Friday. Film grew on 2nd Tuesday due to holiday and collected 6.37 cr nett. Film added 5.02 cr nett on Wednesday and 4.63 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected huge 49.30 cr nett in 2nd week which is similar or higher to big Bollywood blockbusters.

Film collected very good 3.58 cr nett on 3rd Friday. Film jumped big on 3rd Saturday again and collected 6.65 cr nett. Film jumped big again on Sunday and collected 8.69 cr nett. Film scored good 3rd Monday with 3.02 cr nett figure with hardly 18% drop from Friday followed by 3.01 cr nett on Tuesday, 2.94 cr nett on Wednesday and 2.67 cr nett on Thursday.

Film is unstoppable and collected 19 cr nett in 3rd weekend and 28.65 cr nett in 3rd week which are humongous total. Film collected 1.78 cr nett on 4th week Friday followed by huge jump on Saturday with figures of 3.53 cr nett. Film added 5.16 cr nett on 4th Sunday. Film has collected 10.37 cr nett over 4th weekend and this is highest ever including Hindi films.

Film added 1.76 cr nett on Monday followed by 1.87 cr nett on Tuesday which is higher than Monday and Friday. Film added equally impressive 1.71 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.53 cr nett on Thursday taking 4th week total of record 17.34 cr nett.  Film collected 75 lakhs nett on 5th Friday despite handful of new releases followed by super 1.34 cr nett on Saturday and 1.52 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 60 lakhs nett each on Monday and Tuesday, 56 lakhs nett on Wednesday and 65 lakhs nett on Thursday. Film collected 3.61 cr nett over 5th weekend and it crossed 6 cr nett in 5th week. Film added 59 lakhs, 90 lakhs and 1.11 cr nett over 6th weekend.

Film collected 2.61 cr nett over 6th weekend followed by 1.93 cr nett nett on weekdays and it crossed 4.49 cr nett in 6th week which is outstanding. Film added 34 lakhs nett on 6th Friday, 56 lakhs nett on Saturday and 67 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film has collected 1.57 cr nett in 7th weekend and its heading for 2.25 cr nett 7th week.

Film has 7th-weekend total of 182.83 cr nett and film is heading for 183 cr nett lifetime which is outstanding. Film also became highest grosser of 2016 beating ''''Airlift'''' and among top 10 lifetime grossers in India. Now after highest ever weekend and 1st week for Hollywood film in India, it has become highest grosser ever Hollywood film. All time Blockbuster!
