Film is multi starrer and has decent buzz all over due to controversies. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are face of the film for youngsters and now its upto content to trend it well. Film opened to good numbers on Friday. Film saw growth from evening onwards and that meant a very good day one for the film. Film was solid in Delhi and Punjab with 4 cr nett plus number and collected 10.05 cr nett on day one. Film grew only marginally on 2nd day as masses kept distance due to mixed reactions and its only classes which made it happen. Film collected 11.25 cr nett. Film added 12.50 cr nett on Sunday. After 33.80 cr weekend, film added 4.50 cr nett on Monday, 4 cr nett on Tuesday, 3.40 cr nett on Wednesday and 2.80 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 48.50 cr nett in 1st week. Film dropped big on 2nd Friday which was expected with trend of 1st week. Film collected 1.45 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was huge drop of 85%. Film added 2.20 cr nett on 2nd Saturday and 2.45 cr nett on Sunday. Film collected 6.05 cr nett in 2nd weekend which is drop of 85% from 1st week. Film added 80 lakhs nett on 2nd Monday, 75 lakhs nett on 2nd Tuesday, 71 lakhs nett on Wednesday and 66 lakhs nett on Thursday. It added 9.06 cr nett in 2nd week. Film dropped further on 3rd Friday and collected 50 lakhs nett followed by 70 lakhs nett on 3rd Saturday and 85 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film added 2.05 cr nett in 3rd weekend and will collect 2.75 cr nett in 3rd week. Film has 17 days total of 59.61 cr nett. Film is through now just because of healthy weekend but will fall short of hit status. It should reach 60 cr nett lifetime which still will be a good one for such dark film.
