TARZAN Had Below Par Weekend, SHORGUL Is Disaster





Hollywood continues to dominate Bollywood in Indian market and now it has become a trend in last six months or so. This week saw release of ''Shorgul'' and ''Tarzan''.

''Tarzan'' has been sold on decent prices to distributor and they need 20 cr nett plus for recovery. Film opened to below par numbers and managed 2 cr nett on day one which was not bad but it not great either. Film managed slim growth on 2nd day with 2.40 cr nett followed by 2.85 cr nett. Film collected 7.25 cr nett over weekend which is poor and further it will have a curtail run as biggie ''Sultan'' will arrive on Wednesday. Film will struggle to cross 11-12 cr nett lifetime.

''Shorgul'' was non starter and managed poor 40 lakhs nett and 45 lakhs nett on Friday and Saturday followed by 40 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film collected 1.40 cr nett weekend and  it will end below 2 cr nett lifetime. Disaster!
