Monday, 17th September 2018, 1:00 PM IST MANMARZIYAAN Stays Stable At The Box Office The story of Manmarziyaan revolves around Rumi (Taapsee Pannu), who is a free-spirited young woman. She lives with her extended family in Punjab, doing her best to be a good daughter. But youthful desires have led her to Vicky (Vicky Kaushal). Rumi falls in love with his impulsive nature and thus going by the tagline, ‘Love is not complicated, but people are’; they aren’t destined to be together and she gets married to Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan). How Rumi faces her fate in love, is what the film is all about. This weekend, Manmarziyaan clashed with another film Mitron which stars Jackky Bhagnani and Kritika Kamra. By the looks of the trailer, Mitron won’t prove as a major threat to Manmarziyaan. Mnamarziyaan had a slow start at the box office collecting 3.52 cr on its 1st Friday. On its 1st Saturday, the movie catches the speed and made it to 5.11 cr. The movie didn’t grow much on its 1st Sunday and collected 5.70 cr. The total collection of the movie till now is 14.33 cr.
