Yogi Adityanath’s Part Gets Cut By Censor Board In Hotel Milan

Hotel Milan is based on anti-Romeo squad and moral policing by right-wing people, especially in Uttar Pradesh. In Hotel Milan we see the talented casting of Kunaal Roy Kapur, Zeeshan Quadri & Jaideep Ahlawat. As the movie is based on anti-Romeo squad and moral policing by right-wing the movie was deemed to hit by controversies and roadblocks. Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) stood as a huge roadblock as it was for Udta Punjab. CBFC offered 15 cuts for U/A certification but CBFC was keen on chopping off only one particular scene while offering A certificate. The one scene that they were so keen to keep it away from the audience is the scene of Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the sources, this very scene was approved by CBFC in the trailer which is available for everyone to watch on YouTube. Censor Boards sudden reluctance to allow this movie is baffling. The Board has not objected to more objectionable stuff like Khajuraho triple footage in opening credit but they have a problem with news channel footage of Yogiji shows that double standards that prevail among the censor board. The source explaining about the issue adds that it’s so tough for the filmmaker to make a film these days as one cannot be expected to make Film on World Cup without cricket footage of its players like Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. Since CBFC is adamant on not allowing Yogiji’s footage the makers have to settle for just the voice over of Yogiji. 'Hotel Milan' is directed by Vishal Mishra, who made his directorial debut with Sunil Grover's satirical comedy 'Coffee With D'.
