Starring Ranveer Singh as a notorious cop, the story is penned by Yunus Sajawal and Sajid Samji. The dialogues are by Farhad Samji and the trailer is filled with enough of them. The story revolves around this selfish cop & and his journey towards the redemption. Solving the rape cases happening all around, Simmba finds himself. Simmba started with a bang at the box office. The movie collected 20.72 cr on its 1st Friday. The movie kept its hold at the box office by collecting 23.33 cr on its 1st Saturday and 31.06 cr on its 1st Sunday. Witnessing growth due to New Year, the movie collected 21.24 cr on its 1st Monday and 28.19 cr on its 1st Tuesday. The movie continues to collect in double digits, even after New Year celebrations have ended and collected 14.49 cr on its 1st Wednesday. The total collection of the movie till now becomes 139.03 cr. Simmba refuses to slow down at the box office by collecting 13.32 cr on Saturday and 19.49 cr on Sunday. The total collection of the movie now becomes 190.64 cr.
