We are in the last week of IPL and small releases are trying to take benefit of lean period. Two Bollywood films, two Hollywood films and few big regional films released this weekend. ''X Men'' is leading the pack at box office among Hollywood films.

MALEFICENT And BLENDED Remain Low At Box Office

''Blended'' was never expected to open big as this was niche urban comedy targeted only on metros with limited release. On expected lines, film collected 45 lakhs nett in two days and 65 lakhs gross. Film will collect close to 70 lakhs over weekend which is fair but should had been 20% more in ideal situation.

''Maleficent'' was never expected to open and that is what happened. Film collected close to 65 lakhs nett (25 lakhs on Friday and 40 lakhs on Saturday) in two days which is decent but not great. Film was helped by star appeal and Disney brand.
