CHARLIE KAY CHAKKAR MEIN, YAARA SILLY SILLY, RANBANKA And BASEMENT Are Washout
Pre Diwali period is golden time when all small films grab the opportunity to make big at box office. ''Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein'' had got better reviews. But as expected, film opened to around 2% occupancy. It needed big turnaround from evening onwards for any faint chance at box office but that didn''''t happen. Film was best out of new releases and collected 23 lakhs nett on day one followed by 25 lakhs nett on day two and 22 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film finished with 70 lakhs nett weekend and 90 lakhs nett lifetime. Flop!
''Yaara Silly Silly'' was more mainstream but even then film has opened to 1-2% occupancy despite decent release. Film needed big jumps from there onwards but that did not happen as it collected 12 lakhs nett on Friday, 10 lakhs nett on Saturday and 13 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film collected 35 lakhs nett over weekend and 45 lakhs nett lifetime.
Other releases ''Four Pillars Of Basement'' collected 10 lakhs nett over weekend which is washout number. ''Ranbanka'' collected poor numbers of 25 lakhs nett over weekend.
