TRANFORMERS Age Of Extinction Jumps On Saturday
''Transformers'' was expected to take big start at box office but stiff competition from Bollywood release and regional releases pulled it down to an extent. But film scored really well on Friday and Saturday despite all competition. Film was released in 950 screens including IMAX and 3D versions.
Film took a good start on Thursday in paid previews and collected close to 2.98 cr nett from 650 screens. Film was good in metros and south but central India and Mumbai were hit by ''Ek Villain'' wave. Film collected 7.10 cr nett on day one friday (from 950 screens) which was still a good figure.
Film jumped by 16% on Saturday and collected close to 8.25 cr nett. Film has collected 18.33 cr nett in two days including paid previews and now film is heading for 28 cr nett weekend which will be among top 3 for Hollywood films in India.
