BAAHUBALI Sequel Approaches 200 Cr Nett In Five Days Flat
Some films have huge pre release expectations but then only few meet those expectations. ''Baahubali' sequel was expected to be huge but film has over performed to another level especially in Hindi market. Film has broken all possible records all over and box office history has been rewritten.
Film collected huge numbers in markets like Punjab, Delhi, UP and smaller cities all over. In Hindi, film collected outstanding 41 cr nett on day one that too on non holiday. No other film ever in history has done more than 32 cr nett on non holiday and no film has done 40 cr nett plus in single day only in Hindi. All records of ''Dangal'' and ''Sultan'' shattered in every territory by some margin in territories like Orissa, Delhi and UP. Film added huge 40.50 cr nett on 2nd day followed by 46.50 cr nett on Sunday. Film collected 128 cr nett over weekend in Hindi, 300 cr plus All India and 385 cr gross nationwide.
Despite this, it didn't slow down on Monday and collected 40.25 cr nett which is again a record. Film passed litmus test of working day Tuesday with huge 31.25 cr nett. Film has 5- day total of 199.50 cr nett in Hindi and it is heading for 250 cr nett 1st week which is unheard of.
Film went berserk in south market as expected and collected approximately 55 cr in AP and Nizam, 12 cr in Karnataka, 9 cr in Kerala and 11 cr in Tamil Nadu. On opening day, film has collected 121 cr nett plus all India and gross will be insane 170 cr plus. Film collected 91 cr nett All India on 2nd day, 91 cr nett on 3rd day, 80 cr nett on Monday and 52 cr nett on Tuesday. Film has 5 day total of 435 cr nett All India. Film collected 19 million $ (122 cr) over weekend in overseas market.
