Herry Tangri, who has been part of films like ‘Love, Sex Aur Dhokha’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’, will be seen playing the role of Yuvraj Singh in Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.

Herry said, "The film's casting director, Vicky Sidana, introduced me to Neeraj sir in October. He had seen me in the unreleased film ‘Bhaangarh’ and was so impressed, he didn't even take my audition."

The actor has been constantly told that he resembles Yuvraj and he recalls that when he was in Rajasthan, a group of kids mistook him as Yuvraj. "I quietly obliged. It happened to me twice."

Herry has already shot as the younger Yuvraj in Jamshedpur. "It was for a state-level under-19 match which Yuvi played against Dhoni in 1999. The match was never aired but the selectors were watching the match closely so it's really important in the film," he said.

Herry admits playing Yuvraj has been far from easy. "I played cricket till the district level but I am a right hand batsman and Yuvi is a lefty. My coach, Mohit Chaturvedi, had to train me for a month before I got the stance right. The first few days were really difficult," the actor said.

The second schedule of the film kick-starts in Jan next year and he will start shooting as the mature Yuvi. Herry said, "It is set in the early 2000s and will be mostly shot in Mauritius."

Talking about Sushant, the actor said, "Since he's already played a cricketer in ‘Kai Po Che!’, he gave me a lot of tips on the camera angles."

Herry has not yet met Yuvraj. He said, "Abhi toh shooting baaki hai, one day I am sure I will."
