Akshay Kumar To Star In Hindi Remake Of Ajith’s VEERAM

Friday, 1st September 2017, 05:00 PM IST Tamil superstar Ajith is celebrating the success of his latest film ‘Vivegam’, which is in the news for one more reason. According to a source, Akshay Kumar will star in the Hindi remake of Ajith-starrer ‘Veeram’. The film will be titled as ‘Land of Lungi’ (LOL). The film tells the story of a man, eldest of his four brothers, who are willing to go to any extent to safeguard their interests. Things change when love comes calling. Akshay Kumar will reprise Ajith’s role in the film. The film’s name is derived from the clothing, Akshay will wear -- which will be a lungi. It is also heard that Akshay has signed Farhad of Sajid-Farhad as the director and will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. ‘Land Of Lungi’ will be a rural area drama and the makers are thinking to cast Tamannaah Bhatia who was also in the original.
