Be it Faisal Khan or Ganesh Gaitonde, Nawaz tries to make his character different from the previous one. The actor, who started off as a junior artist, has come a long way in the industry. He has done commendable work in some great projects like Sacred Games, Gangs Of Wasseypur, and now, Raat Akeli Hai. Nawaz does not wish to play typical Bollywood hero roles. He does not believe in being in a comfort zone with his roles and also exclaims that the most difficult part of being an actor is to play the same character in a unique way each time. The actor has played the role of a gangster multiple times but each time he tries to bring an edge to his character through the way he deliveres his role. He will next be seen playing the role of Dilly Mahmood in McMafia, a mafia crime drama. Nawazuddin will essay the role of a Mumbai based mafia person and the series is inspired from a namesake novel by Misha Glenny.
