Abhishek Bachchan And Ileana D’Cruz To Come Together For Ajay Devgn’s Film

The duo who had first worked together in Rohit Shetty’s debut film, Zameen and then shared the screen in 2012 comedy Bol Bachchan are coming back together for an untitled film after 7 years. Yes, you heard it right. Abhishek Bachchan & Abhishek Bachchan to collaborate for an untitled film which will be directed by the creative director of Total Dhamaal, Kookie Gulati and will be backed by Ajay Devgn’s production house. The film will also star Ileana D’Cruz in pivotal role. A source close to the development said that the pre-production for the film is already going on. The source reveals: “It is based on real events that took place between 1990 and 2000 and changed India’s financial fabric. Ajay loved the subject and immediately agreed to back it. Ileana has a very strong role in the film but isn’t paired opposite Abhishek. The team is on the lookout for an actress to be paired with him. The film will go on the floors by the year-end.” On the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in De De Pyaar De and is currently busy with Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior co-starring Saif Ali Khan. On the other hand, Abhishek who was part of Manmarziyaan, will soon be seen in Anurag Basu's next directorial. Ileana last featured in Raid opposite Ajay Devgn. | |||
