Sidharth Malhotra Kickstarts The Second Schedule Of Shershaah

By Reema Chhabda - August 7, 2019 Sidharth Malhotra, who is all set for his upcoming movie Jabariya Jodi, has begun the second schedule of his next flick - Shershaah. Shershaah is a biopic and Sidharth will be seen playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra. The Student Of The Year debutante actor flew to Kashmir and started the shoot as the permission was granted prior to Article 370 being scrapped. Sidharth will be completing the Chandigarh and Palampur schedule and then the 40-day schedule will be shot in Leh, Ladakh, and Kargil. The team will be shooting the war sequences, the initial days of Captain Batra when was recruited and his subsequent posting at Kargil. The co-producer of the movie, Shabir Boxwala said that there is no unrest as it is being reported after Article 370 being scrapped. The places like Kargil, Leh, Ladakh and Jammu are calm from what he learned from the army officers. They are optimistic that even Srinagar, which is a bit tense, will ease out in some days. Based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, Shershaah will be directed by Vishnuvardhan and will be produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. |
