KAANCHI Actress Mishti In GREAT GRAND MASTI

Wednesday, 17th June 2015, 3:40 PM IST Mishti, who made her debut with Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kaanchi’, has been roped in to star in Indra Kumar's ‘Great Grand Masti’. In ‘Kaanchi’, Mishti played the role of a simple girl. But in ‘Great Grand Masti’ she will be seen in a bold avatar as the film is an adult comedy. Talking about it, she said, "Actors can't be inhibited, they don't have a comfort zone. I want to try new things, do different roles." She added that she liked Genelia Deshmukh as Bindiya in ‘Masti’. "She was so cute and made me smile," Mishti said. When she was asked if she is playing a role similar to Genelia’s, the actress said, "I can't reveal anything about the role." When she was asked if her mentor Ghai has offered her any film after ‘Kaanchi’, Mishti said, "No, but if Subhashji thinks there's a suitable role for me, then we'll definitely work together again. I've learnt a lot from him and irrespective of its box-office performance, ‘Kaanchi’ will always be a big part of my life."
