The director is considering actor and TV show host Manish Paul to essay Farooq Sheikh’s role in this light-hearted romantic triangle. In an interview, the director said, “I usually write my own scripts and even started writing ‘Rajnigandha’ sometime ago, but it wasn’t getting tuned to today’s time. Then I thought of ‘Katha’ which is more relevant today. I met Sai and told her about it and she approved it. In fact, she liked Manish very much.
