Music Review: Music Album Of JAZBAA Is A Collection Of Some Really Good Songs

Tuesday, 6th Oct 2015, 11:45 PM IST Music Composers: Amjad-Nadeem, Arko, Badshah Lyricist: Sanjay Gupta, Amjad-Nadeem, Arko, Badshah, Nilesh Mishra Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be back on the big screen after five years with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’. The actress, who is known for graceful roles, will be making her comeback with a hard-hitting character. The movie will be releasing on 9th Oct and the music of the film is out. So, let’s see what’s there in store for us. The first track in the album is ‘Bandeyaa’, an intense number with soulful music. The lyrics of the track are heart-warming and will make you emotional. Jubin Nautiyal has sung the track wonderfully and expresses the pain of the character with his voice. There is also a reprise version of the track which is amazingly sung by Asees Kaur. Ratings: 3.5/5 Moving forward comes in ‘Kahaaniya’, a refreshing number. The music of the track is composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee and he has done a great job with the music as well as the lyrics. Nilofer Wani and Arko’s vocals do justice to the track. Ratings: 3.5/5 After an emotional track and a refreshing number, comes in a slow track titled ‘Jaane Tere Shehar’. Arko’s composition will remind you of Jagjit Singh’s ghazal. But, Singh’s ghazals were wonderful and this one highly bores us. However, Vipin Anneja tries to save the track with his beautiful voice. But, on the whole, the track disappoints. Ratings: 2/5 And with the last track ‘Aaj Raat Ka Scene’ get ready to dance. The foot-tapping number composed and sung by Badshah is good, but is like any other party track composed by the bearded singer. But, the peppy music and Shraddha Pandit’s excellent voice makes the track one of the best songs in the album. Just hear the way ‘Janu’ is said in the track. We are sure you will love it.
