No Changes In The Script Of Varun And Alia Starrer SHUDDHI

Thursday, 4th June 2015, 3:14 PM IST Karan Johar’s production venture ‘Shuddhi’ which will be helmed by Karan Malhotra had a lot of changes the casting of the film. There were also reports that the script of the film is similar to ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ or ‘Magadheera’ (South Indian film which will be remade in Hindi). However, recently the director clarified that there won’t be any changes in the script of the film. Malhotra said, "People have been talking about ‘Shuddhi’ from eternity. I am busy with my next film ‘Brothers’ release hence I can start working on ‘Shuddhi’ only after my film is released. Plus, it's not new for me. There have been so many stories about the film ever since its announcement. It is too early to talk about it. It's an original script written by me and my wife. That's all I will say." The first choice for the film were Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Both the actors later walked out of the film. Then Salman Khan was roped in to star as the male lead, but recently he was replaced by Varun Dhawan. For the female lead they have signed Alia Bhatt.
