Ronnie Screwvala Ropes In NEERJA Writer For A Two-Film Deal

Thursday, 4th August 2016, 02:00 PM IST Saiwan Quadras, who made his writing debut in Bollywood with a biopic on ‘Mary Kom’ and then wrote ‘Neerja’, has been roped in by Ronnie Screwvala Productions. RSVP is a new venture by UTV Motion Pictures co-founder, Ronnie Screwvala. After the success of ‘Neerja’, Saiwan worked on few other scripts and now has a bank of scripts. He apparently approached the veteran filmmaker who was impressed by two of his scripts. Ronnie apparently has signed a two-film deal with the writer. One of the scripts is the story of an Indian being held captive in Japan. The film is about the cross-cultural connections and the producer is yet to decide on the director for the same.
