Friday, 12th June 2015, 3:17 PM IST Tabu has worked with Ajay Devgn in films like ‘Vijaypath’ (1994), ‘Haqeeqat’ (1995) and ‘Takshak’ (1999). And now, after 16 years the actress reunites with Ajay in ‘Drishyam’. Talking about working with Ajay, Tabu said, "We grew up together. He was my brother's buddy and every evening he'd drive up in his open jeep while we sat waiting on the bungalow wall.” "The camaraderie is the same. He's crazy, fun and all heart. We started in March and the film was over by May. With Ajay around, it was a picnic. Director Nishikant Kamat too won't shoot after 6 pm," the actress added. ‘Drishyam’ is a remake of a Malayalam flick with the same name. Tabu had seen the original film a year ago, at a special screening. "I watched the film alone and was dazzled by the character of the IG," the actress. Talking about her role, the actress said, "She's cold, ruthless but also emotional and you feel for her. It's a tough space to be in. She's seen in khaki in only a few scenes and there is no action. Her job is to take charge and give orders which she does really well."
