The shooting of the film will kick-start by the end of March. The producer of the movie, Jayantilal Gada said, "It's a start-to-finish 90-day schedule in Kolkata that will commence at the end of March." "We are looking at a March 2017 release but we want to shoot it at our own pace with no compromises. There are a lot of expectations from the film and I assure this ‘Kahaani’ will be grander than the previous one," he added.
