When Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Met SRK

Saturday, 2nd May 2015, 2:24 PM IST Shahrukh Khan met Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed last evening. Mufti was in Mumbai to meet a Bollywood contingent. The superstar told the CM that his grandmother was of Kashmiri origin and he would love to experience again the good old days of 2013 when he had shot Yash Chopra's ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ in the Valley. Sayeed is in the city to promote Kashmir as a shooting and film destination. He said that SRK is a great and versatile actor who has portrayed an array of roles in his long and memorable career. Few days ago, there were reports that Mufti’s party had approached Salman to endorse the Valley. But, the ‘Kick’ superstar, who is currently shooting there, had turned down the offer. A source said that SRK has no plans to shoot in the Valley in the immediate future.
