Recently, at a promotional event, Jha was asked about filmmaker Karan Johar’s statement about intolerance, to which he said that it was Karan’s opinion and he has the right to express his thoughts. In the interview, Jha said, “He (Johar) had talked about his own state of mind and not the current state of the country. Why should we worry about his state of mind? He just described his mental state and it is his right to express himself.” When asked about his personal opinion on intolerance, he said, “There is no situation like intolerance in the country.” “Our society is strong and we have been respecting each other’s cultures and communities,” he added. ‘Jai Gangaajal’ is slated to release on March 4, 2016.
