Saturday, 23rd April 2016, 1:24 PM IST The shooting of Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer 'Bhaiyyaji Superhitt' was going on in Karjat when the members of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) came on the sets and halted the shooting as the producer had not made payments of over Rs 2 lakh to the members working on the film. An insider said, "Multiple cheques issued by Dhariwal dated in 2013 and 2014 bounced. Many of federation's members working on his film have not received payments and the total due is over Rs 2 lakh. Hence the vigilance team had gone to his film's set to demand payment.Non cooperation was issued against him last year in July. But since he has started shooting without clearing the dues, vigilance team had gone to stall the shoot and demand payment." When contacted, producer Mahendra Dhariwal said, "I am giving them (vigilance team) Rs 2,00,000 as deposit. The federation will refund the money if they find that I had already made the payment after a meeting in May." Naveen Shetty, member of the federation's vigilance team, said, "We are going to have a meeting on May 4 where Dhariwal has to prove that he has already cleared the workers' payment. If he is unable to do so or doesn't turn up, the money will be distributed among the workers."
