Friday, 14th October 2016, 04:00 PM IST Karan Johar’s controversial upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has now been banned by the Theatre Owners Association. The association met today and came out with the conclusion that they would ban all movies starring Pakistani artistes, including ‘ADHM’ and ‘Raees’. Nitin Dattar, the President of the association, stated, “We have decided that we will not screen these films with Pakistani actors. Today, the meeting of Cinema Owners Exhibitors Association of India took place and it was decided that keeping in mind the patriotic feelings and the national interest of our country, we request all our members and exhibitors to refrain from screening movies which have involvement of any Pakistani artist, technicians, directors, music directors etc.” Some months ago, Producers Association had imposed ban on Pakistani artistes but that ban didn’t include the movies ready-to-release, however the ban by theatres association puts KJo in trouble.
